Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Security Test Engineer – Ethical Hacker to join our engineering team in a hybrid role in Katowice, Poland. You will perform security assessments by simulating cyberattacks on our servo drive products to strengthen their security posture.

The role requires collaboration with development teams, hands-on testing of hardware and software, and ongoing learning of new attack techniques and tools. Rockwell offers diverse benefits and a global security focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical equivalent in computer engineering, CS, or EE with CS emphasis.
• 2+ years of penetration testing experience are required.
• Experience with Python programming.
• Familiarity with security verification/validation: web apps, vulnerability scanning, fuzz testing, threat modeling, networking, embedded devices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product development to improve security design of industrial servo drive products.
• Apply security tools to evaluate product security posture.
• Perform ethical hacking to assess hardware and software security.
• Keep current with latest testing and hacking methods.
• Maintain knowledge of security threats that could impact products.
• Design and implement security test automation to support DevOps.
