Job summary

Hatch in Katowice, Poland is seeking an AI/ML Scientist to join our Digital team. You will design, develop, validate, and deploy AI/ML models for industrial applications, transforming raw process data into actionable insights and production-ready solutions.

You will collaborate with process engineers, data engineers, and IT/OT teams to integrate models with enterprise dashboards and decision-support tools, advancing Hatch’s AI capabilities across assets and value chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost).
• Experience applying analytics and ML techniques within mining, energy, infrastructure, or asset-intensive industries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and deploy AI/ML models for industrial applications.
• Develop robust data pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and analytical frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineers and IT/OT teams to deploy ML solutions into production environments.
• Translate analytical findings into practical recommendations aligned with business goals.
