Job summary

Etteplan is seeking a Principal Consultant specializing in Industrial Agentic AI to join its Advisory Services team within Software and Embedded Solutions. This role combines strategic discussions with executives and hands-on architectural work with engineers, helping customers integrate Agentic AI into industrial products, systems, and development processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in consulting, advisory, or senior client-facing roles.
• Deep knowledge of Agentic AI architectures.
• Strong background in software engineering and system architecture.
• Experience in industrial, embedded, or edge environments.
• Experience in engineering-driven domains (manufacturing, energy, automotive, or defense).
• Ability to communicate with executives and engineers.
• Comfort with ambiguity and turning challenges into direction.
• Able to work independently in international, multidisciplinary environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead early-stage customer engagements from discovery to feasibility and maturity assessments.
• Identify and assess opportunities for Agentic AI in industrial applications and software design.
• Advise on Agentic AI architectures and adoption approaches balancing value, feasibility, reliability, safety, and scalability.
• Turn complex business and engineering challenges into clear use cases, architecture concepts, and roadmaps.
• Show how agentic approaches can accelerate software engineering and improve development workflows.
• Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to connect advisory recommendations with implementation.
• Support sales and pre-sales discussions with technical insight into achievable outcomes.
• Develop Etteplan’s Agentic AI offering, consulting methods, and best practices, mentoring engineers.
