Job summary

Join Zūm Services, Inc. as a school bus driver and help students get to and from school safely with Zūm’s technology platform. You will operate buses, perform inspections, and ensure a positive, safe journey for students while maintaining routes with reliability.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, and legal work authorization in the United States. CDL training is provided for those pursuing certification and prior driving experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• For certified drivers: CDL with P and S endorsements and state certifications.
• Non-certified drivers: valid license with driving experience acceptable by regulations.
• Willing to obtain CDL with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate assigned vehicles and follow policies/regulatory requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Maintain routes and schedules with professionalism and punctuality.
• Create a safe, positive environment for students and ensure passenger safety.
• Possess a clean driving record and pass background checks and drug screenings.
• Work split shifts and maintain strong communication with students and guardians.
