People More is seeking an Ignition / SCADA Engineer to develop and maintain Ignition-based SCADA applications, design HMI screens, dashboards, and data visualizations, and integrate with PLCs, databases, and external systems. The role requires handling tags, alarms, and historical data, plus scripting and problem solving in an international, remote-friendly setup.

Responsibilities

Ignition / SCADA Engineer

Your Duties Will Include

• Developing and maintaining SCADA applications on the Ignition platform.
• Designing HMI screens, dashboards, and process data visualizations.
• Configuring tags, alarms, and historical data collection and visualization.
• Writing scripts and implementing application logic.
• Integrating the platform with industrial devices, PLCs, databases, and external systems.
• Troubleshooting communication, performance, and application issues.
• Participating in requirements analysis, testing, deployments, and technical documentation.
• Collaborating with the project team and the client to select appropriate technical solutions

Requirements That Must Be Met

• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications on the Ignition platform.
• Experience working with SCADA/HMI systems.
• Ability to write Python scripts for Ignition applications.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of industrial system communication and integration with devices and PLCs.
• Ability to analyze technical issues and independently propose solutions.
• Very good English and Polish
