Job summary

Frontiers is transforming its Internal Developer Platform to empower AI‑driven development across engineering teams. You will own the IDP, shape guardrails, and drive end‑to‑end capabilities from design to run. Collaborate with product and architecture to deliver scalable, secure pipelines.

You’ll work with Backstage, AKS, Terraform/Helm, and GitHub Actions, shaping adoption metrics and cost visibility while advancing AI‑First tooling and developer experience.

Qualifications

• Broad full‑stack software engineering background with production experience.
• 5+ years building and operating cloud platforms or infrastructure.
• Hands‑on Azure (or transferable AWS/GCP) and Kubernetes experience (AKS).
• Infrastructure as Code & GitOps with Terraform and Helm; ArgoCD or similar.
• Modern CI/CD workflows, preferably GitHub Actions; security/compliance as code.

Responsibilities

• Own the IDP platform end to end and define golden paths and guardrails.
• Lead CI/CD and GitOps migrations, and drive reliable deployments.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure as code (Azure AKS, networking, databases, Key Vault).
• Improve observability with metrics, logs, traces and SLOs.
• Develop AI‑First delivery capabilities and enable agent workflows.
