Job summary

Rockwell Automation in Warsaw seeks a Senior Windchill Architect to define and govern Windchill solution architecture across the enterprise. You will work with business partners, leads, developers and external partners to deliver scalable, secure PLM solutions that align with Rockwell Automation's digital engineering strategy.

You will report to a Manager in Poland and enjoy a hybrid working arrangement. The role requires extensive Windchill experience and strong leadership within a global IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience implementing and supporting enterprise PLM solutions, including 7+ years of Windchill experience.
• Expertise in Windchill architecture, configuration, customization, and administration.
• Experience with Windchill components: workflows, lifecycles, OIRs, ACLs, types/attributes, Info*Engine, REST APIs, and integrations.
• Experience delivering large-scale Windchill implementations in global orgs.
• Experience leading architecture decisions across multiple workstreams.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and APIs.
• Fluent in English (C1).

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Windchill solution architecture aligned with enterprise standards.
• Lead technical design of Windchill capabilities including Part, BOM, Document, CAD, Change, Project, and Classification Management.
• Design scalable and maintainable Windchill solutions via configuration, customization, integrations, and reporting dashboards.
• Provide architecture guidance for customizations, workflows, data models, security frameworks, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish and govern architecture standards, development guidelines, and integration patterns.
• Review and approve designs, specs, and implementation approaches by teams/vendors.
• Lead Windchill integrations with SAP, ERP, CAD, MES, identity management, and other platforms.
• Support Windchill upgrades, cloud strategy, and roadmap planning.
• Provide technical leadership to developers, QA, and support teams.
• Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning and sprint planning.
• Document architecture designs, standards, integration models, and dependencies.
