Job summary

SimCorp is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own monitoring, observability, release and security for Azure-based cloud native products. You will collaborate with DevOps teams and clients to ensure reliability, performance, and automation across services.

The role includes incident response, IaC, and platform readiness with on-call duties. It offers hybrid work with a base salary and annual bonus, plus international exposure and professional training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS or related field.
• 3+ years in Site Reliability, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Expertise with Microsoft Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Support the operational and enhancement of mission-critical Cloud Native products & services.
• Collaborate with product development to improve monitoring, observability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate across engineering to understand systems at the code level.
• Manage and improve infrastructure deployment pipelines and troubleshoot onboarding and operations.
• Drive capacity planning for resilience and scalability.
• Build tools to reduce manual toil and improve engineering velocity.
• Define and manage SLOs and error budgets with Engineering teams.
• Contribute to incidents, problems, and change management processes.
• Execute disaster recovery, configuration management, and platform readiness tasks.
• Flexible working in regular & evening shift on rotational basis; weekend or On-Call support as needed.
• Collaborate with Agile teams and participate in design discussions with clients, vendors, stakeholders.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing across Product Areas.
• Foundation in ITIL practices (problem, change, incident management).
