Job summary

Aduna is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own security outcomes across its platform and integration estate. You will collaborate with engineering teams to translate governance into automated security controls, safeguards for AI capabilities, and scalable guardrails.

This hands-on role emphasizes accountability, with no people management, and requires steering engineers toward secure decisions while aligning with telecom security guidelines and industry practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, cloud security, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven track record of managing security risk and navigating the trade-off between security and friction in an engineering organization.
• Experience driving cross-team engineering and security initiatives end to end.
• Experience with system design, threat modeling, and risk assessment, ideally including AI or ML-enabled systems.

Responsibilities

• Own security risk across Aduna's platform and integration estate, including AI/LLM-based features.
• Design and implement security controls across application, infrastructure, and AI layers (identity, authentication, authorization, encryption, secret management, model and prompt safety).
• Operate and evolve secret management with HashiCorp Vault; manage policies, namespaces, and integrations with workloads, CI/CD, and AI toolchains.
• Harden Kubernetes clusters, cloud accounts (AWS, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and AI runtimes against standards and best practices.
• Build and maintain tooling for vulnerability management, dependency scanning, SAST/DAST, container scanning, IaC policy enforcement, and model/prompt scanning.
