EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a highly hands-on Senior Automation Tester to architect and scale enterprise-grade test automation frameworks across data platforms, APIs, and cloud-native systems.

You will own the framework design, enable plug-and-play components, and drive adoption by ensuring easy integration into pipelines and dashboards of quality metrics. The role requires 5+ years in Python automation, strong SQL/data testing skills, and familiarity with CI/CD/DataOps practices to gate production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Python automation test framework development.
• Strong background in SQL and data testing.
• Expertise in automation testing and quality engineering.
• Ability to define and implement automation roadmaps for data engineering and document intelligence projects.
• Understanding of ETL and streaming validation at scale, including window-based and time-based correctness checks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DataOps practices to enforce quality gates before production deployment.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Nice to have familiarity with DBT and CI/CD (DevOps) practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale enterprise-grade test automation frameworks across data platforms, APIs, and cloud native systems.
• Own the design and evolution of scalable, modular test automation frameworks for data pipelines and backend services.
• Enable plug-and-play components, parallel execution, environment isolation, and deterministic runs.
