Job summary

Jit is seeking a skilled data engineer to work on a hybrid project in Capital Markets, focusing on financial crime prevention. You will contribute to building scalable data pipelines, detection rules, and scoring models within a greenfield platform spanning FX, Equities, Derivatives, and Bonds.

You will collaborate in Agile teams, design robust data processing solutions, and leverage Python, Java, and Spark to deliver high-quality engineering across distributed environments.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
• Advanced experience with Apache Spark (PySpark) and SQL for large-scale data processing.
• Hands-on experience with distributed compute platforms and on‑premise clusters.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo/Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
• Experience in Agile teams and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines to support AML/detection scenarios.
• Implement detection logic, rule frameworks, and scoring components for financial-crime use cases.
• Ensure high-quality engineering across code, data pipelines, and operations.
• Contribute to a greenfield architecture with ownership, innovation, and delivery excellence.
