Job summary

Jit is seeking a skilled data engineer to join a greenfield AML platform project for capital markets. You will design and optimize scalable data pipelines, implement rule-based detection, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance distributed processing solutions.

Responsibilities include developing in Python, Java, PySpark, and SQL, ensuring data quality, observability, and regulatory compliance in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and Java programming experience.
• Hands-on PySpark and SQL for large-scale data processing.
• Experience with distributed computing platforms and on-premise environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Bitbucket.
• Understanding of Capital Markets products including FX, Equities, Derivatives, Bonds.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize AML detection data pipelines for large-scale capital markets.
• Implement and enhance detection rules, scoring models, and alerting frameworks.
• Process and analyze high-volume datasets using Python, Java, PySpark, and SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver distributed data processing solutions.
• Contribute to greenfield AML platform architecture and engineering standards.
