Job summary

OneRail Kraków is seeking an Integration Engineer to bring ML models into production. You’ll bridge data science and backend software—deploying, hosting, and maintaining ML-powered features while enhancing back-end services and React-based front-end components.

Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to productionize prototypes, define RESTful APIs with OpenAPI, build Python or Node microservices, containerize with Docker, and optimize performance with CI/CD and automated tests.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional full-stack development with ML in production.
• Hands-on experience serving models in production (serialization, serving frameworks, inference optimization).
• Strong TypeScript and Python proficiency.
• Experience with microservices, message brokers like Kafka, and async frameworks.
• Solid React knowledge (hooks, context, state management).
• Excellent communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain ML models as robust service endpoints (Python/Node).
• Productionize prototypes with data scientists and product teams.
• Define and evolve RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger for ML inference.
• Version, document, and maintain API contracts for internal/external use.
• Build microservices encapsulating ML logic and data pre/post-processing.
• Optimize service performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Modify React components/pages to expose ML features.
• Ensure seamless data flow from back end to front end (streaming/polling).
• Containerize ML services with Docker and manage deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate ML requirements into features.
• Champion API versioning strategies and code quality.
