Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced Local Division Controller for its Traction Division in Poland. In this hybrid role, you will partner with the Division Manager and Management Team to drive financial performance, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting in alignment with ABB standards.

You will lead a small team, manage planning, and provide strategic financial insights to support sustainable growth, while ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement in controlling processes.

Qualifications

University degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience in end-to-end financial processes and internal controls.
Proven leadership and matrix-organization collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Act as financial partner to the Division Manager and Management Team; support strategy and sustainable growth.
Lead forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning in line with ABB standards.
Ensure transparent, accurate financial reporting and proactive insights for decision-making.
Monitor and optimize metrics across turnover, costs, margins, inventory, cash flow and working capital.
Drive project reviews, tendering, risk management, investment evaluation and business case processes.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and local regulations; collaborate cross-divisionally.
Lead, develop, and support a two-person local controller team; contribute to Global Division Controlling.
