Job summary

ABB E-mobility in Kraków is seeking a Global Finance and Business Controller to strengthen financial reporting, profitability analysis and inventory controls across global operations.

You will lead month-end processes, perform P&L and cash flow analyses, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive insights and accuracy. Fluent English is required, Italian is a plus, and SAP skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in financial controlling and reporting.
• Understanding of financial statements, profitability analysis and controlling processes.
• Knowledge of Revenue Recognition principles and related accounting requirements.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud is desirable.
• Advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; fluent English; Italian a plus.

Responsibilities

We're currently looking for Global Finance and Business Controller to join our Team in Kraków, Poland. Join us and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, integrity and transparency of financial reporting across global operations. The role focuses on financial analysis, month-end closing, profitability, revenue, cost and inventory controlling while providing reliable insights for business decision-making.

In This Role, You Will

• support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities,
• ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting,

To Make The Above Work, We Are Looking For

• degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field,
• proven experience in financial controlling, reporting, or business finance,
• strong understanding of financial statements, profitability analysis, and controlling processes,
• good knowledge of Revenue Recognition principles and related accounting requirements,
• experience working with SAP S/4HANA,
• knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting and business analysis is highly desirable,
• advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills,
• strong analytical thinking with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities,
• ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams,
• excellent communication and stakeholder management skills,
• fluent English required,
• Italian language skills are considered a strong asset
