Job summary

Tate & Lyle Global Shared Services Centre in Łódź is seeking a Junior Accounting & Reporting Accountant to support financial reporting, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with policies. The role emphasizes process improvement and collaboration with Business, Audit and Group Finance teams.

The position focuses on moderately complex R2R activities, monthly closings, and data preparation for consolidation, with opportunities to work on automation and efficiency projects in a global context.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Accountancy is required.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience.
• SAP knowledge is desirable.
• Good command of English, both verbal and written.
• Strong Excel skills and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Complete R2R month-end close activities with journal entries, reconciliations and intercompany balances.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports and data for consolidation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support statutory reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Audit and other finance teams.
