Job summary

TÜV Rheinland Polska is seeking a skilled accountant to join the financial team in Katowice. You will work closely with local finance, controlling and the German corporate accounting team to deliver IFRS reporting and accurate monthly closings.

The role requires a university degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, 3+ years of experience, and strong English and German. A hybrid work model and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• University/college degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• +3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an international SSC or BPO.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of the accounting team and in regular contact with local finance, controlling and the Corporate Accounting Team in Germany.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and data for IFRS reporting package.
• Support monthly/quarterly/annual closing processes and post journal entries in SAP.
• Reconcile GL accounts and balance sheet reconciliations; manage fixed assets ledgers and intercompany transactions.
• Coordinate regular fixed asset counts and liaise with auditors; ensure internal controls.
