Job summary

Talent Complete seeks a Project Control Firmware Engineer in Katowice, Poland. You will design, validate, and test motor control models in MATLAB/Simulink, implement features for synchronous, induction, and PM motors, and ensure seamless integration with embedded software.

You will lead code reviews, work in an Agile Scrum environment with a global team, and collaborate across locations. Hybrid schedule based in Katowice, reporting to the manager in Poland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Min 3 years of experience in Motor Control.
• Knowledge of motor control algorithms for induction, synchronous, and PM motors.
• Experience with model-based development in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Familiar with power converters and drive systems modelling.
• Experience in Agile development and leading code reviews.
• Open to using AI models to improve productivity and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate motor control models in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Develop features for synchronous, induction and permanent magnet motors.
• Interface model-based code to embedded software modules using C/C++.
• Ensure seamless Control-System FW integration.
• Simulate and test the model locally and on drives/motors.
• Optimize code for performance, memory, and simplicity.
• Validate code for reliability and safety.
• Lead code reviews with distributed, multi-location teams.
• Participate in requirement specifications and feature investigations.
• Work in an Agile/scrum environment with a global team.
