Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Polska Sp. z o.o. is seeking an entry-level Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer to join the structural analysis team.

You will assess fatigue and damage tolerance for primary fuselage components and support certification up to fleet operations, contributing to safe, reliable airframes. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace/Mechanical/Structural Engineering, with familiarity in HyperMesh and FDT software; Python scripting is a plus.

Qualifications

Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
Experience in fatigue analysis, fracture mechanics, and damage tolerance for airframe structures.
Experience with FEM tools (HyperMesh) and FDT software; Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed fatigue and damage tolerance assessments on primary airframe structures.
Prepare airworthiness justification documents per CS/FAR 25.
Support full-scale and component fatigue testing, including crack growth and model calibration.
Assist fatigue considerations for in-service structural modifications to ensure safety.
Contribute to internal FDT tool improvements and automate routines with Python.
