Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Polska Sp. z o.o. is seeking an entry-level Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer to help ensure the safety and longevity of fuselage structures.

You will work on fatigue analyses, certify compliance, and support testing and model calibration within a collaborative team. The role requires a degree in aerospace, mechanical, or structural engineering and hands-on understanding of fatigue mechanics; Python scripting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on fatigue analysis, fracture mechanics and damage tolerance for airframe structures.
• Experience with aerospace primary fuselage components and regulatory fatigue requirements (CS/FAR 25) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and common FEA tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed fatigue and damage tolerance assessments on primary airframe structures.
• Prepare airworthiness justification documents and support regulatory compliance.
• Assist with full-scale and component fatigue testing and model calibration.
• Support fatigue impact assessments for in-service structural modifications.
• Contribute to automation and improvement of internal FDT tools using Python.
