Job summary
Bayer in Warsaw is seeking a Lead Software Architect to drive the architecture and evolution of a scalable platform supporting internal processes across a global organization.
You will lead architecture governance, define technology strategy and transformation roadmaps, design secure, scalable systems with microservices and APIs, and advance DevOps practices while mentoring engineers and engaging senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 12+ years in IT including software development, architecture and leadership.
- 7+ years in Enterprise or Solution Architecture or similar role.
- Experience with architecture governance and roadmaps.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture governance across business domains, engineering teams and applications.
- Define technology strategy, enterprise standards, principles and transformation roadmaps.
- Design scalable, secure systems using modern architecture, microservices, APIs and integrations.
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD, engineering excellence and risk management.
- Lead collaboration with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Translate complex technology decisions into business outcomes.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
