Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION in Kraków seeks an Associate 1 within Corporate Actions to perform high-risk operational tasks in a Middle Office setting, including IBOR transactions and entitlement confirmations with global custodians.

The role requires assisting colleagues, managing daily workload, analyzing corporate actions, and contributing to risk control with a proactive, team-oriented approach. Hybrid schedule applies, with three days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• Corporate Actions knowledge is an advantage
• Knowledge of Swift Messaging Standards is an advantage
• Good in written and spoken English
• Knowledge of financial instruments
• Knowledge of Custody Banking
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package
• Educated to a degree level (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist team members with daily workload.
• Account transactions in IBOR for respective clients and reconciling entitlements.
• Analyze and research Corporate actions across the globe.
• Ensure risk management by completing tasks with high accuracy and timely escalation.
• Act on projects and initiatives to improve the corporate action product.
• Identify areas to automate processes.
• Assist with procedural changes to the current process.
• Deliver effective client service.
• Adhere to hybrid work arrangement — 3 days from office per week.
