Job summary

Skywaves Rise is seeking an experienced software architect with 10+ years of architecture experience. You will design enterprise software systems, lead multi-platform integrations, and ensure security and performance across database and cloud environments.

The role demands strong communication in English, with the ability to present architectures to executives, and hands-on work with monitoring, IAM, and IaC tools. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 10+ years of professional experience in software architecture.
• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB and MS SQL.
• Knowledge of high availability deployment architectures and security hardening.
• Experience with DB logging, backups, and governance.
• Proven track record in designing enterprise software systems.
• Strong communication skills in English; ability to articulate architectures to executives.
• Hands-on experience with IAM, monitoring, and IaC tooling.
• Experience with cloud automation and infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and multi-platform integration.

Job description

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically, 10+ years' experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with: MySQL/MariaDB and/or MS SQL
• High Availability Deployment Architecture
• Security and Hardening of DB, and related tech
• Experience with DB logging (audit and system logs)
• Experience with DB Backups (Ideally w/Cohesity integration)Experience designing and developing software systems design tools and languages.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
• Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.
• Evaluating and selecting forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• History of innovation with multiple patents or deployed solutions in the field of software design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.
• Experience in design & implementation Monitoring Applications (vReailize/Aria Suite, SolarWinds, Splunk, ELK APM, OpsRamp, HPE OneView, etc.)
• Knowledge on Application Performance, Synthetic, Real User Monitoring & Log Analytics using tools
• Hands-on expertise in cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including provisioning and configuration of virtual machines and application components using tools such as Morpheus, Ansible/Ansible Tower, vRA/vRO, Ansible playbooks, and Python scripting.
• Experience with enterprise storage, network, and computing platforms (implementation, monitoring, and design)
• Must have thorough knowledge on all operating systems and platforms (Various Applications, Middleware, Network, Windows/Unix servers, Virtualization, Containers, Cloud Services, Database, etc)
• Experience interacting with REST/SOAP APIs of various products
• Solid understanding of Enterprise IAM and User Management
• Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

Travel to customer sites up to 25%, however travel could exceed based on the needs of the business.
