Job summary

ITConnect is seeking a Cloud Architect to design resilient, scalable and cost-efficient cloud platforms, driving modernization and overseeing on-prem to cloud migration activities.

The candidate must have proven experience in large-scale enterprise hybrid deployments across at least two cloud vendors (GCP/AWS/Azure) and deep knowledge of IAM, networking, KMS, Terraform, and FinOps.

Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale hybrid cloud deployments in enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to design resilient, scalable cloud platforms and manage cloud cost optimization.
• Strong knowledge of multi-cloud ecosystems (GCP, AWS or Azure) and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design resilient, scalable and cost-efficient cloud platforms for modernization.
• Lead on-premise to cloud migration activities.
• Provide senior-level support to Core Technology Architecture and Engineering teams.
• Develop cross cloud/on-prem hybrid deployment architectures.
• Contribute to IAM, network, KMS and governance in cloud environments.

Job description

The person will be mainly responsible for designing resilient, scalable and cost efficient Cloud platforms that turn our ambitious modernization plans into measurable delivery. He/she will be also involved in current on-prem to Cloud migration activities.

The candidate we are looking for must have proven experience in a large scale enterprise (preferrably financial sector) hybrid implementations containing at least 2 different cloud vendors and phisical location as well.

In-depth expert knowledge of the service architecture of at least one cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure) is a must.

• Designing resilient, scalable and cost efficient Cloud platforms that turn ambitious modernization plans into measurable delivery.
• Involvement in current on-prem to Cloud migration activities.
• Providing additional support for Core Technology Architecture and Engineering department at Senior level.
• Cross cloud/on-prem hybrid deployments architecture.
• In-depth expert knowledge of the service architecture of at least one cloud provider including:
