Job summary

GFT Technologies SE is hiring a seasoned DevOps engineer to drive cloud-native platforms, CI/CD automation, and scalable IaC across a large financial services environment. You will optimize Azure infrastructure, support AKS, and promote AI-assisted development within a regulated setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with software teams, strong SDLC alignment, and delivery excellence. Hybrid work from Kraków offices is available.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of DevOps engineering experience.
• Strong experience with GitLab CI/CD implementations.
• Proven Azure cloud expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong Kubernetes administration and platform engineering skills.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Java development background.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development.
• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
• Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure and AKS environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform.
• Implement and improve DevOps practices, automation and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance software delivery and operational efficiency.
• Support cloud-native application deployments and Kubernetes platform operations.
• Apply AI-assisted software development practices to improve productivity and quality.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC standards, security requirements and operational best practices.
