Job summary

Aon Kraków is seeking a Lead Climate & Catastrophe Risk Analyst to deliver climate risk insights and support risk reporting for clients and internal partners across the EMEA region. The role blends data analytics, risk modeling, and collaboration with engineering, broking, and consulting teams in a global insurance context.

Qualifications

• Degree in GIS, Data Science, Environmental Sciences or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with data analysis, risk modeling or related analytical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data handling passion.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in an international environment.
• Proficient English; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of assessments and reports on climate and natural hazards.
• Analyze data used in risk modeling and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, broking, and consulting teams across EMEA and globally.
• Help improve digital tools, reporting templates, and analytical processes.
• Be a key user of internal systems and contribute to process optimization.
• Share knowledge, provide mentorship, and support junior colleagues.
