Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking an HV Safety Engineer (Expert) to join our Krakow hardware team. You will own the HV safety requirements from concept to verification, coordinating with validation and manufacturing engineers and leading reviews with customers.

Your work will drive compliance and safe, reliable eMobility products. You will analyze requirements, derive design specs, and develop verification plans for HV safety, while building test benches and coordinating supplier testing across regions to

Qualifications

• Masters Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronic or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Automotive Electronics or e-Mobility (Hardware).
• Strong foundation in hardware embedded systems and power electronics.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Ability to work autonomously and resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Capture and analyze product requirements.
• Derive design requirements and align development teams.
• Assess electrical and mechanical design for HV safety compliance.
• Lead customer reviews of HV safety requirements, design and verification.
• Develop the product HV safety verification plan.
• Build and improve hardware test setups and benches.
• Define and plan supplier-specific test execution.
• Execute product testing on the hardware bench.
• Track and report test progress.
• Manage and resolve hardware defects.
• Drive standardization of HV safety processes across regions.
