Job description

We are looking for an experienced and highly driven HR Director / Head of Human Resources to lead and develop the HR function of our international company.

Our team operates across multiple countries and time zones, with employees and contractors based in Europe, Latin America, and the United States. We are looking for a hands‑on HR leader who understands how to build effective HR systems for international and remote teams — from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, policies, employee development, and compliance.

This is a leadership role for someone who can combine strategic HR management with strong execution and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall HR strategy and day-to-day HR operations across the company.
  • Manage and supervise the HR and recruitment team.
  • Build, implement, and continuously improve HR processes, policies, procedures, and internal standards.
  • Manage international recruitment for positions across Europe, Latin America, the United States, and other markets.
  • Develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies for remote and international candidates.
  • Ensure that all employees and contractors have complete and accurate HR profiles, contracts, documentation, job descriptions, compensation information, and employment records.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, hiring, onboarding, probation, performance reviews, promotions, compensation changes, vacations, leave, disciplinary procedures, and offboarding.
  • Develop and maintain onboarding and training programs for new employees.
  • Implement and supervise performance management systems, KPIs, employee evaluations, and development plans.
  • Work closely with department managers to identify hiring needs, team performance issues, organizational challenges, and development opportunities.
  • Develop clear organizational structures, job descriptions, responsibilities, reporting lines, and career paths.
  • Create and implement company HR policies, including remote‑work policies, vacation and leave policies, working hours, performance standards, confidentiality, disciplinary procedures, and internal communication standards.
  • Ensure proper HR documentation and compliance for employees, contractors, and independent professionals in different jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, NDAs, non‑compete/non‑solicitation agreements, and other HR documentation together with legal and management teams.
  • Manage compensation benchmarking, salary reviews, bonuses, incentives, and employee benefits.
  • Monitor employee engagement, retention, productivity, and overall team effectiveness.
  • Identify underperformance, organizational risks, and HR‑related issues and propose clear corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate HR reporting and provide management with regular reports on recruitment, headcount, turnover, performance, compensation, and other key HR metrics.
  • Select, implement, and manage HR technology and systems such as ATS, HRIS, performance management, training, and employee documentation platforms.
  • Build a strong, professional, accountable, and performance‑oriented company culture.
