Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking a Data Engineer to join a data initiative in GPO domain for a global medical technology leader. You will build and maintain cloud-based pipelines on AWS and Snowflake, utilizing dbt and Informatica to deliver validated partner files for external use.

You will collaborate with data owners, architects and governance teams, focusing on data quality, lineage, and ownership as the project transitions from discovery to delivery, supporting Tableau-based validation and

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience in data engineering on cloud platforms.
• Experience with AWS (including Glue) and Snowflake.
• Hands-on with dbt for transformations and Informatica for ingestion.
• Experience working with SAP ECC/S4 data and MDM in complex landscapes.
• Experience building validation-heavy pipelines and CSV integrations with partners.
• Ability to collaborate with data owners, architects, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Explore data sources (SAP ECC / S4, MDM, product hierarchy) and identify quality gaps.
• Build and maintain pipelines on AWS, Snowflake, Informatica and dbt to generate validated partner files.
• Implement data quality checks and validation views; support downstream Tableau validation.
• Collaborate with a team of 6 including data and QA engineers and a Data Architect.
• Help evolve the tactical solution into a strategic data architecture with lineage and ownership.
