Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking a Data Engineer to join a data initiative in the GPO domain for a global medical technology leader. You will build pipelines on AWS and Snowflake, ensure data quality, and collaborate with data owners, architects and governance teams to create scalable data architecture.

You will work with a team of data engineers and QA engineers, contributing to technical decisions and code quality while evolving the solution from discovery into delivery with robust data lineage and

Qualifications

• Solid experience in hands-on data engineering on cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience with AWS (incl. Glue) and Snowflake in enterprise setups.
• Hands-on with dbt for transformations and Informatica for ingestion/integration.
• Experience with SAP ECC/S4 data and master data (MDM) in complex landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Source Analysis & Discovery: explore enterprise data sources, identify data quality gaps and governance constraints, help shape design.
• Pipeline Development: build and maintain pipelines on AWS (Glue), Snowflake, Informatica and dbt to generate validated GHX files for external partners.
• Data Quality & Validation: implement quality checks, validation views and validation in downstream tooling like Tableau.
• Team Collaboration: work in a team of data engineers, QA engineers and a Data Architect, contributing to decisions and code quality.
• Solution Evolution: evolve the tactical solution into a strategic data architecture with focus on lineage and ownership.
