Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Lead Testing Tools Development Engineer to design, build, and maintain advanced testing frameworks and automation tools across functional, performance, and security testing.

You will create reusable libraries, CLI tools, and integrate with CI/CD pipelines in a distributed systems environment. The role emphasizes containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, observability with Grafana and ELK, and close collaboration with QE, SRE/DevOps, and development teams to

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Tools development or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong programming skills in Java with a focus on tooling and automation.
• Proficiency in extending and customizing open-source tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Postman, REST Assured, Karate, JMeter, K6, Gatling, Locust, OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom test automation frameworks for functional, performance, and security testing.
• Develop reusable libraries, plugins, and CLI tools to support test execution, reporting, and CI/CD integration.
• Build scalable test harnesses for distributed systems, microservices, mobile native and cloud SaaS applications.
• Integrate tools with Git, Jenkins, Harness, and other CI/CD platforms.
• Containerize tools using Docker and orchestrate environments with Kubernetes.
• Add observability to test tools using New Relic, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Collaborate with QE, SRE/DevOps, and development teams to solve testing pain points.
• Provide governance, documentation, training, and support for tool adoption.
• Explore emerging testing technologies and contribute to best practices.
• Experience with data management, mocking frameworks, and service virtualization.
