Asana is seeking an Analytical Engineering Manager in Warsaw to lead a team responsible for the data foundations: Gold layer, canonical metrics, and semantic layer that enable trusted numbers and AI-powered self-serve through Claude and Databricks Genie.

You will sit at the intersection of Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science, ensuring stakeholders can answer questions without routing through your team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading analytics/engineering teams.
• Track record shipping governed data products and metrics.
• Strong SQL, data modeling and semantic-layer design.
• Ability to translate business needs into roadmaps and priorities.
• Familiarity with AI-native analytics and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and develop a team of Analytical Engineers.
• Own the Gold layer and semantic-layer strategy across domains.
• Treat recurring insights as products with owners and SLAs.
• Drive self-serve enablement for trusted data products.
• Partner with data-related teams to define data contracts and SLAs.
• Manage prioritization, run-rate, and cost as key metrics.
