Job summary

Jobtailor is searching for an accomplished leader to guide a high-performing engineering team focused on AI and machine learning within a regulated pharmaceutical context. You will drive end-to-end analytics workflows and shape a scalable analytics ecosystem for enterprise transformation.

The role requires deep AI/ML expertise, success managing complex scientific data in regulated environments, and a track record of leading cross-functional teams toward strategic objectives in pharma/biotech

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in people leadership or program management.
• Deep technical know-how in AI/ML frameworks and their application in advanced analytics ecosystems.
• Extensive experience managing complex scientific data content and primary/secondary analysis within a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of software development, process architecture, and modern service delivery methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare technology industry.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Data Sciences, Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, Information Technology or a related technical field.
• Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach behaviors, effectively navigating ambiguity and complex organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team, fostering innovation in AI and machine learning.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of validated, production-grade automated analytics workflows.
• Architect a scalable scientific analytics ecosystem for enterprise-wide digital transformation.
• Define an AI-driven technical roadmap and platform strategy.
• Consolidate, onboard, and host a diverse portfolio of future analytics use cases.
• Support team members’ self-defined career journeys and remove professional growth roadblocks.
• Manage senior stakeholders across Pharma Development and negotiate priorities.
• Align technology with business objectives.
• Implement engineering excellence initiatives that improve collaboration and psychological safety across development teams.
• Manage acquisition, ingestion, curation, and analysis of clinical trial and real-world data to support regulatory filings.
