Job summary

GoMining is seeking a General Manager to own Custody & Compliance, shaping strategy, P&L, product, and delivery. You will manage end-to-end custody infrastructure, KYC/AML, and deposits/withdrawals with a data-driven mindset.

Lead a dedicated engineering team, collaborate with Legal and Risk, and balance strong controls with a fast customer experience for a global user base. This is a hybrid role across international teams.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in crypto custody, payments, KYC/AML.
• Experience owning custody/compliance processes in a crypto exchange or wallet.
• Practical experience with platforms such as Fireblocks or BitGo.
• Deep understanding of KYC, AML, Travel Rule, and fraud prevention.
• Experience building scalable compliance operations.
• Experience negotiating with external providers.
• Strong product and commercial mindset.
• Ability to balance conversion with risk and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own Custody & Compliance end-to-end, including strategy, roadmap, budgets, and results.
• Define metrics for deposits, withdrawals, KYC, fraud, and activation.
• Improve onboarding speed and money movement.
• Balance risk prevention with customer experience and commercial impact.
• Build financial and operational models for decision making.
• Collaborate with C-level stakeholders on strategy and priorities.
• Lead a dedicated engineering team and own delivery.
• Hire, develop, and manage performance as needed.
• Leverage AI and automation to boost execution speed.
