The Opportunity Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Technical Knowledge and Digitization Specialist to support our 12,000+ global employees in the High Voltage Business Unit. In alignment with Hitachi Energy High Voltage’s learning vision and growth strategy, this role will help architect our inaugural training center of expertise and knowledge community. This will include creating and maintaining global processes, standards, change management plans, and analytics for the digitization of training content, records, curriculum assignments, skill and task assessments.
As the Global Learning Management System Administrator for Cornerstone, you will manage the upload and review of courses, content, and analytics while adhering to brand and style standards. You will coach managers, administrators, and trainers on the digitization and tracking of training, including Virtual Instructor‑Led Training (VILT), online learning, and Instructor‑Led Training (ILT). You will assist in the creation of role‑ and skill‑based learning paths, internal certifications, and content mapping. You will also create and lead a new HV Global LMS Collaboration Network. You will create knowledge assets such as best practices, lessons learned, troubleshooting advice, step‑step guides, graphics, and short videos for the LMS while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, compliance, and operational excellence. Working closely with the Global Learning Manager, you will collaborate with cross‑functional leaders, subject‑matter experts, instructional designers, and knowledge owners to determine priority content needs. Guide and coach SMEs and global Admins on knowledge sharing, development tracking, and digitization best practices. Lead, track, and participate in training‑based projects that align with High Voltage global goals to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Develop and maintain global LMS curriculum assignments, learning paths, standards, style guides, asset reviews, best practices, and processes. Compile, analyze, and summarize training data, with a focus on continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is skilled in adult learning methodologies, role‑, level‑ and skill‑based learning, technical writing, and copy editing. Technology tools that you will utilize include Cornerstone Learning Management System, process mapping tools, skill and task assessment management systems, Canva, Articulate 360, and Microsoft applications, especially PowerBI. Experience in manufacturing is a plus. Cornerstone OnDemand Product Certification is a plus. A minimum of 10 years of experience in andragogy knowledge, training, learning management in manufacturing, engineering, higher education, and/or technology industries is required. A bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree is preferred, with a concentration in technology, adult education, organizational management, technical writing, or instructional design. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning Management System administration, preferably Cornerstone. Comfort working in a production plant or factory environment and while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working with employees across the organization.
The minimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows: Starting from: 44800€ gross annual (Only for Italy).
In addition to the base salary, this role includes a performance bonus and a results‑based bonus, designed to reward both individual contribution and company performance. The final offer will be based on candidate location, skills and qualifications, experience, and aligned with internal pay structures.
