Job summary

Siemens Gas and Power GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier qualification, audits, and PPQ activities across global teams.

You will coordinate cross-functional efforts to assure quality and cost-effective supply for critical parts, including welding and coating processes. You will lead projects in an international environment, applying RCA and risk mitigation while aligning with Siemens Energy standards and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a similar discipline.
• Experience performing supplier qualification, product/process qualification and technical supplier development to provide a global, demand-covering, quality-assured supply base.
• Experience leading projects and virtual cross-functional teams in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification activities and supplier audits.
• Coordinate product and process qualification per standards.
• Plan and optimize supplier quality management processes and tools.
• Drive supplier improvement programs and risk mitigation.
• Participate in design reviews with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
