Job summary

Konecranes in Poland seeks a Steel Structure Supervisor to lead on-site and factory supervision of crane manufacturing for ports solutions. The role requires frequent travel across Poland and internationally, with responsibility to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a Mechanical Engineering degree (IWE/IWI a plus), strong manufacturing orientation, fluent English, Polish communication, and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree required; IWE/IWI asset.
• Strong technical orientation in mechanical/manufacturing engineering.
• English professional level; Polish communication.
• At least 2 years in steel structures manufacturing.
• Willingness to travel frequently (Poland and abroad).
• Knowledge of technical drawings and documentation.
• Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site Konecranes representative for ports projects.
• Ensure work follows safety practices and laws.
• Monitor schedules, communicate, and report to project team.
• Ensure manufacture meets specifications and drawings.
• Ensure specified product quality is fulfilled.
• Guide subcontractors and clarify technical questions.
• Report progress, quality and safety issues.
• Report manufacturing non-conformances.
