Job summary

Takeda in Lodz, Poland is seeking a Sourcing Lead to own multi-year strategic sourcing across Indirect, R&D, and Manufacturing & Logistics. You will lead a team of 8–12, drive cost and ESG value, and partner with stakeholders to align with enterprise priorities.

Qualifications

10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role.
Experience leading sourcing across Indirect, R&D, Manufacturing, or Logistics.
Strong knowledge of Source-to-Contract, CLM, supplier management, risk management.
Proficiency with SAP Ariba or equivalent eSourcing and P2P platforms.
Fluent written and spoken English.

Define and own multi-year global sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities.
Lead a team of 8–12 sourcing professionals; coaching and performance management.
Drive cost, risk, and ESG value through sourcing initiatives.
Lead complex negotiations and supplier relationships; ensure compliance.
Implement standardized processes and leverage AI to improve procurement.
Partner with Category Managers to mitigate supply chain risks.
