Job summary

Banking Circle is expanding its sanctions hub in Poland and is seeking individuals to join the Level 1 & 2 sanctions screening team. You will investigate sanctions alerts, request additional information, and escalate true matches for further investigation, becoming part of a global function run from London, Singapore, and now Poland.

The role requires handling high volumes, adhering to SLAs, and potentially working shifts outside standard hours.

Qualifications

• Track record in sanctions screening within financial services.
• Experience in payment screening operations with high-volume processing.
• Familiarity with global AML and sanctions rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Investigating potential matches and actioning as appropriate
• Managing caseload to ensure payments are processed within SLAs
• Identifying and recommending process and procedural enhancements
• Working with Data Science teams to continuously improve our systems
• Monitoring regulatory developments and industry best practices
• Maintaining procedures and working instructions to ensure adequacy
