Job summary

Hatch in Katowice, Poland, is seeking a highly motivated Planner to join our Project Delivery Group. You will deliver planning and progress measurement on high complexity capital projects within the metals, energy, and infrastructure sectors, using Primavera P6 and MS Project to support EPCM activities.

The role requires 2–5 years of project controls experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced international environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience in project controls on medium/large multi-discipline projects (EPC/EPCM).
• Engineering, Commerce, or Business education background.
• Excellent analytical, writing and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliverables-driven.
• Experience in consolidated preparation, collation and presentation of project and financial reports.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff, clients and vendors.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Developed and maintained the Project Master Schedule and refined FEL4 Level 3 schedules.
• Delivered planning and progress measurement activities with schedule risk analyses.
• Reviewed contractor schedules and provided optimization recommendations.
• Monitored and updated project schedules, tracked progress, and identified delays.
• Managed changes by updating schedules after modifications and assessing risks.
• Measured progress using earned value methodologies and prepared regular progress reports.
