Job summary

GE Vernova in Katowice seeks a Logistics Project Coordinator to ensure delivery of equipment within defined timelines and budget. You will coordinate with stakeholders, issue shipping documents, and enforce international trade rules and GE policies.

The role covers sourcing, invoicing, risk monitoring, and continuous process improvement across road, sea, air, and multimodal transport. A strong English background and a Bachelor in Logistics are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Logistics or similar field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of turnkey project logistics and major transports.
Experience with international trade rules (Incoterms, Customs, L/C).
Fluent written and spoken English.
Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate large, complex projects.
Experience with road, sea, air, and multimodal freight; handling dangerous goods, heavy lifts, and oversized loads.
Knowledge of import/export procedures.

Responsibilities

Manage the delivery of equipment up to the place of destination within the timescale defined by the Project team and with stakeholders.
Ensure shipping documents issued and released to stakeholders to meet delivery and payment dates.
Ensure international trade regulations and GE rules are respected before shipping.
Inform service providers about EHS rules and ensure compliance.
Ensure method statements for sensitive operations are issued timely and followed.
Manage and approve invoices from local transportation companies.
Follow logistics procedures, processes and use logistics tools.
Monitor logistics risks and opportunities; report progress, cost tracking to Project Procurement and Logistics Manager.
