Job summary

ABB is seeking a Finance Manager - Product Costing to define and govern standard costing frameworks for the ABB ELSP division globally. The role ensures consistent costing across MTS, MTO, CTO and ETO, coordinating with local units and ERP environments.

The position is hybrid with a preference for candidates in Europe and requires extensive SAP CO-PC experience, cost governance, and finance transformation expertise across cross-cultural teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure transparency in production costs, COGS and variances.
• Own ELSP product costing guidelines, policies and master data governance.
• Drive variance analysis standards (purchase price, production variances, capacity utilization).
• Lead implementation of costing principles across ELSP locations, business lines and ERP environments.
• Coordinate with local units to align costing practices with divisional standards during DSM timeline.
• Provide SME on ERP product costing configurations (SAP CO-PC, material ledger) and harmonize costing runs.
• Train and guide local controllers and plant finance teams to ensure adoption of standard costing practices.
• Partner with EL Divisions to support DSM journey of product costing.
