Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking a Global Payroll Implementation Program Manager to lead large-scale payroll initiatives across multiple regions. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and align with EY's global methodology to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires hands-on program and project management, strong client engagement, and change management skills. You will communicate with stakeholders at executive levels and drive continuous improvement in payroll operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Post Graduate in Accounting/Finance/Administrations/Operations. MBA preferred.
• Polish and English language at B2+ level.
• 3–5 years of payroll implementations for large organizations.
• Strong program and project management experience (PMP, Prince2, Agile preferred).
• Experience with AI-powered analytics, automation, or intelligent payroll operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale global payroll implementation programs across regions and countries.
• Apply best-practice methodologies (risk management, governance, QA, issue resolution, reporting).
• Be primary client contact; manage expectations and satisfaction.
• Oversee integration of payroll tech platforms with client systems; ensure data flow and compliance.
• Manage cross-functional teams and vendors; foster collaboration and accountability.
• Oversee multiple country-level projects; ensure alignment to global standards and timelines.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle: planning, discovery, design, configuration, testing, go-live, stabilization.
• Develop client-facing materials and executive updates; drive steerco meetings.
• Define KPIs to measure client satisfaction and team performance.
