Job summary

Novo Emprego - Portal de Emprego is seeking a Senior Operations Finance Manager to drive financial performance and strategic decisions across an international manufacturing network in the EMEA region.

You will lead an international finance team, partner with operations leadership, oversee budgeting, forecasting and cost optimisation, and evaluate capital investments to support manufacturing transformation across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related discipline.
At least 10 years in Finance, Controlling or Financial Management in industrial/manufacturing settings.
Experience in Operations/Manufacturing Finance, Plant Controlling or Regional Finance leadership.
Proven track record supporting multiple manufacturing sites in international organisations.
Experience leading geographically dispersed finance teams.
Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, standard costing and performance management.
Understanding of manufacturing cost structures, inventory, capex and financial processes.
Ability to influence senior executives and partner with operational leadership.
Experience with strategic investments, manufacturing transformation and cost optimisation.
Fluent English; willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

Lead Operations Finance across multiple manufacturing sites with financial discipline and KPI visibility.
Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner to senior Operations Leadership.
Develop and mentor an international finance team.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, planning and performance reporting for the network.
Analyse results and translate data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
Drive cost optimisation, productivity and working capital efficiency.
Lead strategic initiatives including footprint optimisation and capacity expansion.
Evaluate capital investments and business cases for strategic priorities.
Establish and monitor operational/financial KPIs and risk mitigation.
Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering and Corporate Finance to improve outcomes.
Ensure robust controls and audit readiness.
Champion automation and data-driven decision making in finance.
