Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Field Inspection Engineer (NDT) to join a port and container terminal project. The role blends field inspections, NDT activities and maintenance support for heavy port equipment worldwide.

The position is field-based with approximately 80% international travel and requires reading technical drawings, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• NDT field inspections and quality checks on steel structures, welds, and mechanical components.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Experience with fabrication, welding, and industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections and quality checks on port equipment.
• Verify compliance with technical documentation and project specs.
• Identify non-conformities and prepare punch lists and inspection reports.
• Support maintenance with on-site assessments of equipment condition.
• Interpret drawings and specifications for inspections.
• Participate in crane condition monitoring programs at international sites.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
