Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Field Inspection Engineer (NDT) to conduct non-destructive testing and field inspections on heavy port equipment worldwide. The role involves evaluating cranes and related machinery, verifying compliance with engineering standards, and reporting non-conformities.

Qualifications

• NDT certification required (ISO 9712, AWS or equivalent).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Strong field inspection and on-site assessment skills.
• Good English for technical communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections and quality checks on port equipment and components.
• Verify fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair activities against specs.
• Identify non-conformities and prepare punch lists and inspection reports.
• Support maintenance and repair activities with on-site assessments.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to support crane condition monitoring.
