ABB in Poland seeks a Senior Procurement Manager to lead mechanical component categories for the Traction division. You will define sourcing strategies across locations, secure supplier bases, negotiate pricing and contracts, and drive cost-reduction initiatives with Engineering and R&D.

The role requires a university degree, 10+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement, strong negotiation and stakeholder management, fluent English, and SAP/MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, SCM, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing or Procurement.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and developing category strategies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business strategy and ensure supplier base capability and capacity.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers focusing on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability with relevant functions.
• Identify cost reduction or avoidance opportunities and drive actions with Eng./R&D to realize savings.
• Negotiate pricing and sourcing framework agreements with key suppliers and renew price lists.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across the organization.
