JDE Peet's is seeking a Global Master Data Expert (CoE) to lead data governance across Finance data domains, providing leadership, best practices, and training. You will drive data quality, collaborate with data teams, and support global data initiatives in a fast-paced coffee company.

The role emphasizes data leadership, continuous improvement, and collaboration within a global team, with a focus on Master Data governance and SAP familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in master data or data management roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven track record in managing master data in cross-functional environments.
• Good knowledge of Master Data concepts and SAP systems.
• Ability to design and implement improvements in data operations.

Responsibilities

• Collect business requirements and collaborate with the master data manager to craft solutions across the data management framework.
• Ensure data quality and perform data cleansing across assigned data objects.
• Lead data improvement initiatives and support master data projects.
• Participate in projects touching the data domain and coordinate with other domains.
• Keep forms, upload tools, and reports aligned with business domain requirements.

Job Description

Master Data is information that is a key to business operations. It is a single source of basic business data used across multiple systems, processes and functions. This key business information includes the data about customers, materials, suppliers, Finance.

In this role As the Global Master Data Expert Center of Excellence you provide leadership, best practices, research, and training in the Finance data domain to improve overall performance.

• Collects business requirements and works with the master data manager to formulate solutions across all elements of our data management framework
• Responsible for the data quality incl. data cleansing of the relevant data objects within the assigned Data Domain, lead and support master data related projects
• Identify improvements and work with MDM Ops Team to ensure implementation.
• Project member in projects that touch the relevant data domain and overlooking the other domains.
• Make sure request forms, upload tools and reports are up to date with the business requirements on domain assigned.
• Center of Excellence (CoE) provides leadership, best practices, research, and training in a specific domain to improve overall performance.

Skills

For this role as a Global Master Data Expert (CoE) we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• At least 3 years’ experience
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written
• Proven and sustained track record of successful master data process management in multi/cross-functional environments
• Good knowledge of Master Data and SAP
• Ability to develop creative and innovative ways to improve operations of the organization
