Job summary

Johnson Electric Group is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive process improvements, apply Lean methods, and collaborate with international teams to deliver operational excellence.

You will develop and maintain process documentation, optimize production tooling, lead trials, train staff, and ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards while supporting new product introductions. This is a full-time role based in Poland with a globally connected team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical or related field)
• Two years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (SMED, 6S, TPM)
• Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, MSA, PFMEA
• Experience with ISO 9001/14001/45001 and IATF 16949
• Experience with 3D design software
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
• Good command of English for international collaboration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive attitude and strong teamwork capabilities

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain process documentation (work instructions, control plans, PFMEA, BOMs)
• Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and performance
• Develop and improve production tooling and equipment
• Promote Kaizen (SSP, 6S, ergonomics, standardization, visual management)
• Analyze technical docs and drawings for compatibility with processes
• Interpret process stability and quality data; resolve issues
• Supervise production trials and report on changes
• Support development and assembly of new product prototypes
• Drive initiatives to reduce production costs and improve quality
• Train employees on new and existing processes
• Collaborate with international teams
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and environmental standards
