Job summary

Chemelex seeks a Global Inventory Leader to craft and govern our worldwide inventory strategy, balancing service levels with working capital targets. You will drive project-focused supply planning for Leuven DC and Poland Panel Shop, ensuring material availability and timely delivery commitments.

You will partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Manufacturing to establish targets, monitor performance, and implement continuous improvements in inventory practices using analytics tools and ERP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, finance, operations, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of inventory management, supply chain planning, materials management, or operations.
• 3+ years in a global or multi-site manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SAP.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern global inventory management policy.
• Set inventory targets and governance across regions, plants and DCs.
• Lead supply planning for Leuven DC and Poland Panel Shop.
• Monitor metrics: DIOH/DOH, inventory value, working capital.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
• Support S&OP and IBP processes and drive improvements.
